FAQ: What to Expect at a Music on The Move Showcase

Have you ever been to one of our showcases? NO? Well, first thing’s first: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

Secondly, you’re overdue. So, let’s get you ready.

Obviously, you’re going to hear great music but, it’s not genre-specific! We like to give you a variety of music to discover and yet all sounds like it was meant to be played together. For example, Amber Sweeney? Blues & R&B. Sarah Morey? Country to her CORE. Meanwhile Lunchbox Rachel is serving up some sassy rock vibes and Kaylee Federmann has all the happy-boppy pop tunes! All while being backed by our incredible all-female house band, The HellCats!

Why do we have a house band?

To keep things moving! One of my personal pet-peeves at a concert is set changes. Not just as a concert goer but also as the person who coordinates the logistics behind the scenes. As a concert goer, we want our audience to have the best experience ever and one of the ways we do that is to respect their time so, a house band means more time for music!

What kind of vendors do you have?

It varies! We’ve had everything from therapists and travel agents to small boutiques, beauty salons, and jewelers! We are still currently working on our vendors for this upcoming showcase so stay tuned to our socials for vendor announcements! Are you a female-owned business or, know of one who you think would be a good fit? Send them our way
