“Hip Hop Has A Place In Music City” - Interview With Lord Goldie

Lord Goldie is a Nashville, TN native who has been a part of the hip hop scene since she was in high school. She began writing music in her teenage years and hasn’t looked back since. She’s graced stages in Atlanta, New York, and Texas, but Nashville is home, and she’s committed to helping the hip hop scene regain some of the ground it has lost — and then some.

Earlier in the year, Lord Goldie released a hip hop/country fusion track called “Sunday Funday,” which she feels was a step forward in bridging the gap between the two genres. With the release of her new single, “Andalé,” featuring Ej TheMaker,” Lord Goldie is ready to see Nashville open its mind and its heart to the hip hop world — and we couldn’t agree more.
