“Spotlighting” our “RockN” Vendors!

We are so excited to be featuring our very first book publisher at the showcase! Anabel and I first met Ellen at the Belmont Internship fair when she came up to our booth and struck up a conversation about empowering women. When she told us she had feminist children’s books, we knew we had to get her, her authors, and her books in front of our audience!

Ellen Myrick is the owner of Publisher’s Spotlight, as well as it’s parent company Myrick Marketing & Media. She’s been supporting independent & international authors since 2009, specifically focusing on books for Teachers & Librarians. The female authors and publishers that Ellen works with are finding fresh and exciting new ways to tell stories for Children & Teens!

We got a glimpse in to some of the books she is currently working with and were so excited by what we saw! We cannot wait to see what she brings to the showcase! Grab your tickets now!

If you’ve been at our showcase before, you’ll know the name Rock-N-Boho Clothing. One of our original vendors back in 2019, Michelle’s clothes have been a staple of our all-female pop up market, (and if I’m being honest, my own closet!)

The clothes, accessories, and gifts she chooses to include in her online boutique are reminiscent of the 1960’s-80’s rock era, modernized to fit today’s bohemian fashions.

After moving from Ft. Lauderdale to Nashville in 2015, she was inspired by the vibrant music scene and people of Nashville to create what is now her own dreams come true!

Women in Music Nashville is a local chapter of a global networking group. I joined the committee in 2021 and found the opportunity to be involved in such a supportive community on a global level priceless.

Women in Music focuses on providing educational opportunities for all women in the music industry to help further knowledge and careers, to stay up to date in the latest trends, and to empower women all over the globe! The local chapter in Nashville hosts various events on a monthly basis ranging from networking happy hours, a self-care sound bath event, panels and performances, and more!

You can learn more about WIM and their membership at the showcase!

Another staple of our pop up markets is none other than Mary Jennings, AKA “No Sass Creations.” A woman of many hats (singer/songwriter, band member, bolo tie maker, art director, mom, the list goes on,) Mary uses her vintage and thrifting savvy to create one-of-a-kind bolo ties that are perfect for any occasion!

No Sass Creations first showed up in 2019 and has since been at countless showcases. Her unique pieces can be styled a number of ways. Either as a necklace, a bracelet, a headpiece, and more!
